In an era where high-speed internet is more critical than ever, a recent report has unveiled the top performers in the sector. Canada’s fastest internet providers have been revealed, providing consumers with crucial information to make the best choices for their internet needs. The report was compiled by global network testing and data analytics firm Ookla, the company behind the popular Speedtest website.

Ookla’s Speedtest Awards

The Speedtest Awards identify the internet service providers (ISPs) that offer the fastest fixed broadband speeds. The evaluation is based on data collected from millions of consumer-initiated tests carried out on the Speedtest platform. The period under review was from July to December 2025.

The award winners are determined based on each provider’s download and upload speeds, giving a comprehensive overview of their performance.
